Art Wharton

Art Wharton is the Vice President of Market Development at Studsvik Scandpower, a subsidiary of Studsvik AB. His responsibilities span marketing, product development, government affairs, and export control. Mr. Wharton is a graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, formerly licensed Senior Reactor Operator at the University of Texas, and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Master of Business Administration program. His work experience at Westinghouse Electric Company prior to joining Studsvik began as a nuclear fuel core design engineer, and progressed into roles in new nuclear plant projects, research and development, and strategic leadership in the operating plant business. Mr. Wharton has also served as the President of the Board for Urban Pathways K-5 Charter school in Pittsburgh prior to joining the Generation Atomic Board.
